FAQ – Funeral Safe Ltd (In Administration) (“the Company”)

 

Q1. What has happened?

Funeral Safe Ltd entered administration on 6 May 2026. Geoff Bouchier and Benjamin Wiles of Kroll Advisory Limited were appointed as Joint Administrators.

Q2. I already have a Funeral Safe loan. Do I still need to pay?

Yes. If you already have a Funeral Safe loan, your loan remains in place and your monthly repayments should continue to be made on the same payment day each month.

Q3. Has my payment date changed?

No. Your payment date has not changed.

Q4. I am having trouble making my payments. What should I do?

Please contact the Funeral Safe hotline in the first instance using the contact details on this page so that we can discuss your circumstances.

Q5. I applied for finance but the loan has not yet been funded. What happens now?

If you applied for finance before the administration and your application had been approved, the loan will still be honoured. The loan proceeds will still be paid to the relevant supplier on your behalf.

Q6. Can I make a new application?

No. Funeral Safe Ltd is closed to new lending and is not accepting new applications.

Q7. Do I need to do anything right now?

If you already have a Funeral Safe loan, you do not need to do anything right now other than continue making your payments in the usual way.

Q8. How do I know if a message is genuine?

If you are unsure whether a message is genuine, please contact the Joint Administrators at Kroll using funeralsafe@kroll.com before taking any action. We will not ask you to pay a third party to deal with your loan or application.

Q9. Do I need to use a claims management company?

No. You do not need to use a claims management company or any third party in relation to your account or application.
